On June 30, 2020, in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #43215543, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) published the Final Implementation Instructions for the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).  These instructions replace those previously issued on June 16, 2020, and they are meant to provide guidance on the new requirements under USMCA.  The instructions address topics including entry, compliance, rules of origin, auto requirements, and textile requirements.

CBP has shared a variety of resources to support the trade community with the implementation of USMCA, including videos, fact sheets, and frequently asked questions.  USMCA enters into force on July 1, 2020.
