On December 12, 2019, in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #40969690, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) provided a list of resources to assist the trade community with the trade remedies under Section 201, 232, and 301.

The Trade Remedy team at traderemedy@cbp.dhs.gov can assist with:

  • Entry filing requirements for goods subject to the trade remedies;
  • Entry filing requirements for goods approved for exclusions to the trade remedies; and
  • Whether Section 232 exclusions are active in CBP’s Automated Commercial Environment (ACE).

The CSMS directs the trade to other resources for entry filing problems, entry-specific questions, exclusion applicability, quota, free trade agreements, and Section 232 exclusion request denials.

The complete breakdown can be found in CSMS #40969690:
