CBP Announces Date and Agenda for Next COAC Meeting

In a Federal Register Notice published on November 27, 2024, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced that the Commercial Customs Operations Advisory Committee (COAC) will conduct its next quarterly meeting on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.

In addition, CBP outlined the agenda for the COAC meeting. Some of the topics that will be covered include:

  • Updates from the Antidumping/Countervailing Duty (AD/CVD), The Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Process Modernization, and the Forced Labor Working Groups.
  • The Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) 2.0 Working Group concept of operation document.
  • Update from Modernized Entry Processes Working Group on its reconciliation test.

CBP will also be accepting public comments for this meeting. Comments must be received in writing no later than December 6, 2024. The webinar link and conference number for virtual attendees will be published by 5:00 p.m. EST on November 29, 2024.
