Argentina Waives Import Requirements for Certain Goods

On June 6, 2024, the Argentinian Ministry of Economy published Ruling 108/2024, which waives specific certification requirements on the import of certain goods into Argentina.

The following regulations and the goods affected are as follows:

  • Ruling 653/1999 for packaged paper;
  • Ruling 453/2010 for inks, lacquers, varnishes and printed products;
  • Ruling 680/2015 for school supplies;
  • Ruling 3/2018 for aluminum tubes used for packaging products;
  • Ruling 920/2021 for sanitary devices and their accessories; and
  • Provision 246/2013 for electromagnetic and electronic ballasts for fluorescent lamps.

This ruling went into the effect the day of publication.
