On February 28, 2024, Argentina’s Ministry of Economy published Resolution 49/2024 to simplify and reduce the administrative procedures for importing textiles, apparel, and footwear.

This ruling waives the requirement of including a Product Composition Affidavit (DJCP), which was a document that was used for products classified in chapters 57, 61, and 63 of the Mercosur Common Nomenclature and contained a breakdown of materials used and description of the goods.

This resolution went into effect February 29, 2024.
