Air Cargo Advanced Screening (ACAS) Informed Compliance Period Ending

On May 14, 2019, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced in Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #19-000242, the upcoming end of the Air Cargo Advanced Screening (ACAS) informed compliance period.

According to the CSMS, the informed compliance period will end June 11, 2019, and the inbound carrier or other eligible party  will be required to transmit specified advanced data electronically to CBP for cargo transported onboard aircraft bound for the U.S. as early as practicable, but no later than prior to loading cargo onto the aircraft.
