Ziad is an MBA graduate from the Holy Spirit University in Lebanon. He joined Expeditors back in 1999 with the Account Management Department at the MAIR regional office. In 2002, he took on the responsibility of Director of the Risk Management division in the M. East, Africa, India, and later in Europe to help develop our Cargo Insurance and Claims Management services. He then moved to the account management department in 2015 as Director of Customer retention and development in the region before leading the Account Development program in 2017. In 2020, Ziad was promoted to Director of Customs - MAIR and he is currently based at the Regional HQ in Dubai. Throughout his career, Ziad has supported the company growth and demonstrated a mix of capabilities such as Logistics knowledge, Business Development, Customer Service, Standardization & Global implementation of processes together with the knowledge of various local markets.
