Shyam Sagar is a Master’s graduate specialized in supply chain and logistics from the University of Waikato, New Zealand. He joined Expeditors in 2017 in the Air Export department as an Executive in the Chennai (MAA) district. In 2019, he was selected to take part in the Global Management Trainee Program in Mumbai (BOM). During his MT program, he actively sought opportunities to work with various departments and contributed significantly through his operational projects. In 2020, he moved to Hyderabad (HYD) to take over District Business Operations while also handling Personnel Training for the district. In 2023, he added Good Distribution Practice (GDP) to his role and actively participated in EEE and Sustainability Green initiatives. In 2024, he was promoted to manage Distribution and Warehousing services. In a span of less than a year, he ensured the product grew 40% over budget and 238% year-over-year. His forte is business development, customer service, and a process-oriented approach aligned with the company’s growth.
