Sarah is a Global Customs Development Manager for the Customs Product at Expeditors. Sarah began her tenure with Expeditors 13 years ago in Seattle, WA, working in customs brokerage. During her first three years, she developed her expertise in brokerage and leadership, and obtained both her Customs Broker License and IATA FIATA certification. Looking for new challenges, Sarah joined the Regional Americas Customs team, contributing to various initiatives for Expeditors’ customs operations throughout the Americas. Here, she expanded her reach into systems analytics and development. She also had the opportunity to bolster her passion for learning and good quality training that supports the people behind the work by developing an onboarding training program for new hires in the U.S. After five years with the Americas, Sarah transitioned to the Global Customs Product, supporting customs departments globally with marketing and positioning initiatives, communications around trade actions, and supporting the company in the bid process for global clients. She continues to support the development of customs training globally.
