Abdiel Vergara is a Master’s graduate specialized in Supply Chain Management & Logistics from EAE Business School in Madrid, Spain, and is currently serving as Operations Manager at Expeditors Panama. Since joining Expeditors in 2024, Abdiel has played a key role in transforming the performance and trajectory of the Panama district. Initially appointed as Distribution Manager, he led the growth of the Distribution product, positioning it among the top performers in The Americas. Under his leadership, Distribution also expanded from a single facility in Colón to an additional operation in Panama City, significantly strengthening in-country capabilities and customer coverage. In 2025, Abdiel expanded his leadership scope to include the Transcon department, where he strengthened installed capacity, improved vendor leverage, expanded margins, and scaled the product. Abdiel has completed the Sales Foundation Course (SFC) and holds certifications in Air DG, Ocean DG, and GDP. As Panama continues to consolidate itself as a critical hub within the CAS region, Abdiel’s journey highlights the impact of disciplined leadership, strategic execution, and scalable operational focus.
