Description:
As part of its outreach program to the trade community, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) will be presenting on its CARM initiative at Expeditors Canada Inc. offices. CARM is a multi-year business transformation initiative.

The objective of CARM is to simplify the importing process and envision to:

  • Provide a modern interface for importing into Canada.
  • Give importers self-service access to their own information.
  • Improve consistency in trade rules and decisions.
  • Eliminate repetitive information requirements.
  • Strengthen compliance verification and fraud detection.
