Description:
The design of physical and information networks has such a profound impact on cost performance, responsiveness, reliability and working capital. Faced with an ever changing landscape and the pressure to drive continued performance and margin improvements, the ability to focus on fulfillment in a holistic way is critical. Companies who recognize this can rapidly make design changes and can unlock tremendous value and create significant competitive advantage.
You are invited to attend an overview of supply chain design and best practices, supplemented with case studies illustrating how these principles are being utilized to increase customer service, lower cost, reduce inventories and streamline business processes for success.
Common challenges faced by today’s supply chain practitioners:
- Enhancing the customer experience
- Increased complexity
- Continuous improvement and cost reduction mandates
- Decreased logistics resources
Focused discussion and dialogue:
- What is supply chain design and network optimization?
- How do I initiate a project and when? What should I expect?
- Tools in the market today
- Practical application through case studies
