day to day activities includes understanding the Most Common Importer Errors, preparing for a Focused Assessment, and understanding how the Priority Trade Issues impact daily affairs. Other topics to be discussed include: Classification; Valuation; Recordkeeping; Post entry activity; and Origin Determination.In today's heightened regulatory environment, errors in ECCN determination, export valuation, or export reporting can result in penalties and shipment delays. We will review Commodity Jurisdiction, Classification and Licensing, Trade Embargoes, Denied Party Screening, Fines and Penalties, creating an effective Export Compliance Program, and Documentation and Recordkeeping. There will also be a hands on Workshop to practice ECCN and licensing determinations. Bring your laptop!
