Hurricane Dorian: Sept. 4, 2019

Hurricane Dorian started to move northwest of Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas, and has weakened to Category- 2 strength. It is projected that Dorian will follow the US coast northward over the next several days and bring storm conditions, including heavy rainfall, flooding, tropical and hurricane force winds, and strong storm surge along the Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas coast.

Airport closing today at 3PM. The FAA tower will cease operations at that time, airport spokesman Spencer Pryor said. Likely will remain closed through Thursday PM.
