Course Description
With the ever changing climate of our industry, understanding the “considerations“ of logistics is vital. This knowledge will allow you to create an efficient process that will lead to the safe and timely delivery of your product. The purpose of this seminar is to educate on the movement of cargo from the point of origin to the ultimate destination. While this may seem to be a basic process, there are many steps and processes involved along the way. Having an understanding of all the parties that participate in your supply chain will better prepare you to navigate the, at times, intimidating world of logistics.
Topics to be discussed
All aspects of moving cargo through the entire supply chain including:
- Sourcing
- Documentation and record-keeping
- Purchase order inception
- Consolidations
