On July 2, 2019, the World Trade Organization (WTO) issued its annual edition of World Tariff Profiles, which provides comprehensive information on the tariff and non-tariff measures put in place by over 170 countries and customs territories.
This year’s publication includes a chapter on “Aligning trade and tariff policies with sustainable development,” which focuses on tariffs applied to technological goods that could help a country reach certain sustainable development goals.
