WTO and Others Organizations Meet to Discuss Globalization Challenges

On April 10, 2017 a meeting was hosted by German Chancellor Angela Merkel and attend by the World Trade Organization (WTO), International Monetary Fund (ITF), World Bank, International Labor Organization, and the Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development to discuss challenges to globalization.

The meeting discussed possible solutions to globalization issues, including additional education, training, and social policies. According to Merkel, “The cooperation of multilateral organizations is of the highest importance for good economic growth. Under the circumstances of globalization and digitalization we need to work together for development of all parts of the world.”
