The World Customs Organization (WCO) has announced that registration is now open for the fourth Global Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Conference to be held from March 14-16, 2018 in Kampala, Uganda.
This conference will display how AEO programs and Mutual Recognition Agreements (MRAs) can secure global trade, contribute to economic development and at the same time provide a platform for representatives from Customs administrations, international organizations, other government agencies, researchers, academics, industry stakeholders and policy makers to connect to each other.
Attendees will have the opportunity to:
- participate in a large number of workshops, addressing international trade issues,
- learn how AEOs can enhance compliance and improve revenue collection,
- explore the benefits of MRAs by being an AEO,
- contribute to the development of international tools at the WCO,
- learn to be more competitive and attract more trade,
- meet experts from all over the world and share experiences, and
- discover how to enhance your position globally.
There are no registration or participation fees paid by participants to attend the Conference; however, participants will be responsible for all expenses related to travel, accommodation expenses etc.
