On April 9, 2020, in a joint effort, the World Customs Organization (WCO) and the World Health Organization (WHO) updated the HS Classification Reference for COVID-19 Medical Supplies.  The update expands the original list issued by the WCO to include a larger range of medical equipment and supplies deemed as critical by the WHO.  This guide is meant to facilitate the cross-border movement of these critical response products and includes information on items such as test kits, protective garments, and medical devices.
