USTR Releases Statement on U.S.-China Trade Talks

On January 9, 2019, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) released a statement on the U.S. trade delegation’s meeting in Beijing, China. According to the statement, the meetings included discussions on “…ways to achieve fairness, reciprocity, and balance in trade relations between our two countries.”

In addition, the talks focused on China’s promise to purchase additional goods from the U.S.
