On March 25, 2019, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) published a Federal Register Notice (FRN) announcing additional exclusions to the Section 301 trade remedy tariffs imposed on approximately $34 billion worth of products of Chinese origin.

The exclusions are detailed in the annex to the FRN, and include 33 HTS codes, 30 of which apply to specific commodity descriptions.

The product exclusions are retroactive to July 6, 2018 and will be valid for one year from the date of publication of the FRN.
