USTR Extends Certain Section 301 List 1 Exclusions

On March 13, 2020, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative published a notice of extensions for certain exclusions from List 1 of the Section 301 tariffs that were due to expire March 25, 2020. 

The notice affects nine description-based exclusions and two ten-digit subheading exclusions including:

  • Certain water filters;
  • Certain filter housings; and
  • Certain electric motors.

The exclusions will be extended through March 25, 2021.  They can be claimed under 9903.88.06.  The other exclusions originally announced in Federal Register Notice 84 FR 11152 were not included in this extension notice.
