Mexican NOMs Agreement Modified

On June 3, 2019, the Mexican Ministry of Economy will no longer allow the “Usage Affidavit” to act as a waiver for 63 Mexican Official Norms (NOMs).

The removal of the “Usage Affidavit” as a waiver was originally announced in the Mexican Diario Oficial from October 23, 2018, and the implementation was delayed by a second amendment published on February 28, 2019.
