Fifth Round of NAFTA Negotiations Concludes

 The fifth round of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) negotiations concluded on November 21, 2017 in Mexico City, Mexico.

According to a statement issued by the Office of the United States Trade Representative, headway was made on several chapters. Chief Negotiators concentrated on making progress with the aim of narrowing gaps and finding solutions.

The sixth round of negotiations will be held in Montreal, Canada, from January 23-28, 2018.
