On September 13, 2019, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #39785981 announcing the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) new FDA Establishment Identifier (FEI) portal.
According to the CSMS, the FEI will allow members of the importing community to look up and verify firm information, and assist in identifying FEI numbers associated with a specific address.
Users may sign up for an account and log into the FEI portal at https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/feiportal/.
