European Commission Implements Commercial Measures on Products Originating in the United States

On June 21, 2018, the European Commission (EC) published regulation (EU)2018/886 implementing additional customs duties, in multiple stage, on imports of certain goods originating in the United States of America. The initial stage, effective June 22, 2018, will apply to goods classifiable in the commodity codes listed in Annex 1 to the below referenced regulation. The rate of additional duty will be applied to goods cleared into free circulation after 12:00 CET on June 22, 2018.
