Kelly’s career began in 1994 as a receptionist at Expeditors’ corporate headquarters in Seattle. Her leadership potential was recognized early on, and in 1996, she entered the Management Trainee program. In 1998, Kelly relocated to New York and focused on business development in the Middle East and the United States, traveling extensively to support further collaboration between the two regions. In 2000, her contributions in this capacity were recognized with a promotion to Branch Manager of New York.
After six years in New York, Kelly was promoted to District Manager of Columbus, Ohio, in 2004 and then served as the District Manager in Memphis, Tennessee, beginning in 2007. Her operational, fiscal, and leadership achievements in these positions paved the way for her to take on one of Expeditors’ most extensive gateway operations in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2011. She was then promoted to Regional Vice President of the U.S. Mid-Atlantic region in 2015, where she led a successful team of more than 500 logistics professionals.
In 2020, Kelly became a member of our Senior Leadership team when she was promoted to Senior Vice President of Global Air, where she was responsible for advancing air cargo solutions and carrier relationships worldwide. In 2024, Kelly was promoted to President of Global Products and oversaw the development of Expeditors’ core transportation products and service offerings. Kelly assumed the role of President of Global Geographies in 2025. In this position, she leads our district offices and employees in 100 countries and manages global, regional, and local operational processes and efficiencies.
Kelly is a licensed U.S. Customs Broker, IATA/FIATA Certified, and earned a bachelor’s degree in business leadership and Japanese from the University of Puget Sound. She is passionate about developing future leaders and sponsors Expeditors’ global employee engagement initiative as well as being actively involved in cultivating service provider and customer partnerships.
Caroline Pappas is Area Commercial Manager, Americas for Etihad Airways, where she leads commercial strategy and customer engagement across North and South America.
With more than 30 years of experience in air cargo and global logistics, Caroline has held senior leadership positions including Director of Sales, North & South America for AirBridge Cargo Airlines, Regional Sales Manager for Network Cargo Systems, Cargo Account Manager for British Airways, AVP Cargo Sales for Virgin Atlantic Airways, and Account Executive for Sabena Belgian World Airlines.
Her extensive background across airline cargo sales, network development, and strategic partnerships has made her a respected leader in the global air freight industry.
Brian Howard is a logistics industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in transportation, fleet solutions, and expedited business development. As Senior Director of Expedited Sales at Werner Enterprises, he spearheads strategic initiatives focused on engineered fleet solutions, contract logistics, and high-performance supply chain partnerships.
With a strong background in time-sensitive transportation, Brian has played a pivotal role in supporting just-in-time (JIT) shipments within OEM manufacturers, LTL middle mile, parcels, retail, technology, and industrial sectors. His expertise in expedited and dedicated operations has helped customers reduce downtime, streamline inventory flow, and improve production continuity across complex networks.
A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Brian brings a service-driven mindset to every engagement—guided by the core values of honor, courage, and commitment. He is also an active advocate for individuals with disabilities and serves on the advisory committee for Prime Home Developmental Disabilities Services, in addition to his involvement with Werner’s ADAPT (Abled & Disabled Allies Partnering Together) and Werner WeVets committees.
Outside of work, Brian is a passionate supporter of veteran causes and is currently preparing for the 50 Mile March, a 23-hour march to raise awareness for homeless veterans and mental health support. He lives in Omaha, Nebraska, with his wife and children.
Meg Meurer serves as Vice President Dedicated & Final Mile Sales at Werner Enterprises with over 15 years of transportation industry experience. She began her career in driver recruiting before advancing into commercial leadership roles, where she has successfully managed large-scale commercial transformation and integration initiatives.
Meg holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management with a minor in Finance, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Stephens College. She is also accredited as a Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA) through the Alliance of Merger and Acquisition Advisors and most recently helped Werner Enterprises with the successful acquisition of FirstFleet, a $650M Dedicated carrier out of Murfreesboro TN.
Before joining Werner, Meg served as Chief Commercial Officer at a boutique transportation and logistics merger and acquisition advisory firm.
Outside of work, Meg serves on several board and advisory committees including the University of Missouri, St. Louis Supply Chain Advisory Board of Directors. Meg resides in St. Louis, Missouri with her husband Rob, and their two children, Mabel and Charlie.
David Yokley, CPP, PCI is a security and investigations executive with more than 31 years of law enforcement and private‑sector security leadership and investigative experience. He currently serves as Senior Manager of Loss Prevention and Recovery for Expeditors International and its subsidiary Cargo Signal.
Prior to entering the private sector, David retired as a Captain with the California Highway Patrol, where he commanded multi‑agency task forces focused on major gang crimes, organized retail crime, cargo theft, vehicle theft, and highway violence. Throughout his career, he has led complex investigations, built regional and statewide enforcement partnerships, and implemented intelligence‑driven strategies that significantly disrupted organized criminal networks.
David is a Certified Professional (CPP) and Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) through ASIS International and has received national recognition for his work combating vehicle theft and organized crime. He brings a practical, operations‑focused perspective on cargo security, risk mitigation, and collaboration between law enforcement and the global logistics industry.
