He is based in the Risk Management group at Expeditors corporate headquarters in Seattle. Previously, Marek held various operational and leadership roles in the Customs brokerage department at Expeditors’ Seattle branch
Courtney excels at protecting our customers, employees and cargo through managing Expeditors’ customs and trade compliance needs. She started with Expeditors in 2003 and spent the first 10 years of her career leading one of the largest Customs Brokerage departments in Expeditors’ network. She oversees traditional compliance functions, such as entries, exports, ACE, interactions with Customs and Border Protection and Partner Government Agencies. She also manages communication, training and execution of trade compliance topics such as denied parties, sanctions and embargoes, anti-boycott, restricted commodities, anti-corruption and anti-competition.
