USMCA Overview

Wed. June 17, 2020
9am-10:30am PST

Please join us for an overview of USMCA.  The United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), or "NAFTA 2.0," is the result of a 2017–2018 renegotiation of NAFTA by its member states, which formally agreed to the terms on October 1st, 2019.  Negotiations focused largely on auto exports, steel and aluminum tariffs, and the dairy, egg, and poultry markets.  It is a modernized update to NAFTA that also contains new elements regarding labor and the environment.

Ms. Madeleine Veigel will provide the major changes and highlights of the USMCA, while Ms. Frankie Bryson will give an importer's perspective of the new agreement.
