Description
The Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles are the premier gateway of commerce into and out of the United States. Considering the magnitude of cargo volume and the global impact of these ports, understanding the complexities of port operations is essential for those participating in global trade. Yet for many, this first-hand knowledge of "how things work" is often an afterthought. We invite our customers to join us for an introduction and overview of port operations in our backyard. The seminar portion of this event will include a port operations presentation covering details of the port today as well as future program and project plans. In the afternoon we will provide a first-hand view of the ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles on a guided boat tour through the harbor, courtesy of our friends at the Port of Long Beach.
Registration is required and on a first come, first served basis. Please register no later than May 15th, 2019. Due to high demand, we ask that company representatives be limited to two people. For further questions please contact us by email.
