Wendy Fung, M.A., C.P.E. 
Business Development Manager, Port of Long Beach

Wendy Fung, M.A., C.P.E. is an experienced international business development and operations executive with 16 years in the global logistics industry. Wendy is currently Business Development Manager for the Port of Long Beach, the second busiest port complex in the United States. She is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with cargo owners, third-party logistics companies and other transportation stakeholders. She performs market analysis, hires and coaches staff and is responsible for her section’s budget and marketing plan. She presents at various national and regional trade conferences and workshops, manages World Trade Center-Long Beach and engages in local economic development. Wendy is a member of the Port’s Women's Leadership Circle and was selected to attend the Coro Women in Leadership Program in March 2020.

Prior to joining the Port, Wendy held various trade lane development, sales and operations positions at several large transportation service providers such as Pacer International (now XPO Logistics), Kuehne + Nagel, and Hanjin Transportation Services. Wendy was born in Hong Kong and is bilingual in Cantonese/Mandarin. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Wellesley College and an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Southern California. She also holds a graduate certificate from the USC Marshall School of Business’ Management Development Program and is a Certified Port Executive.
