As India continues to strengthen its role in the global economy, Mumbai remains a critical gateway for trade. Home to major financial institutions, international connectivity, and one of the country’s busiest ports, the city plays a central role in how goods move between India and global markets. For businesses operating here, supply chains must be built for scale, speed, and adaptability.

A Regional Presence with Global Reach

Expeditors’ presence in Mumbai reflects the importance of this region. With teams located within and across the surrounding region, including Pune, Indore, Nagpur, and Vapi, Expeditors supports customers across a wide range of industries navigating both domestic and international trade flows. This regional footprint allows teams to stay close to customers while remaining connected to a global network.

Connectivity at the Core of Trade

Connectivity is a defining advantage of the region. Proximity to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and the Jawaharlal Nehru Port (Nava Sheva) enables efficient multimodal movement, supporting time-sensitive shipments and complex routing strategies. As Mumbai and neighboring cities continue to grow as industrial and technology hubs, supply chain requirements across the region continue to evolve.

Infrastructure and Expertise Supporting Growth

To support that growth, infrastructure and local expertise play a key role. Strategic warehouse locations and a nationwide distribution network allow businesses to position inventory effectively and respond to shifting demand. Combined with deep regional knowledge, Expeditors helps customers manage complexity and move cargo with confidence.
