Balazs began his career with Expeditors in 2017. He joined Expeditors in the position of District Sales Manager for Austria and Slovakia in the Vienna office and still manages the District`s Sales Program. During the five years at Expeditors, he was able to build up a robust Sales Program and significantly contribute to the revenue and profit growth. Since early 2020, he also has the responsibility to manage the Pricing Team. Balazs comes with a strong sales and business management background. He lived more than half of his life outside of his fatherland, Hungary. Having started in sales in 2000 at an IT consultancy firm, he moved on to becoming an Account Group Manager at Hungary`s largest alternative telecommunications service provider, managing a sales team responsible for large, corporate accounts. After switching from the IT and Telecommunications industry to logistics in 2007, he managed the Sales and Customer Service Department of United Parcel Service Hungary. Before joining Expeditors, he spent 8 years at TNT Innight. As the company`s managing director in Hungary, he successfully managed the turnaround of the firm. Consequently, he was promoted to the position of General Manager European Key Account Management, where he managed the European Sales Program aimed at large corporations. His career at TNT Innight took him to Düsseldorf and Vienna.
