Description:

Rotterdam has a history that dates back to 1270 when a dam was built on the Rotte River. This led to the formation of a community around the dam for protection. By 1340, Rotterdam earned its city status from the Count of Holland and gradually evolved into an important hub for logistics and commerce. With the onset of the Industrial Revolution, changes swept across the globe, increasing interdependence among nations. In 600 years, Rotterdam transformed from a modest fishing port to the largest port in Europe, thanks to the efforts of numerous forward-thinking individuals.

For this event, we're thrilled to have you here in this remarkable location at the Port of Rotterdam. It's been a year since the last Ocean Port Seminar, so we're excited to bring it back. We know that everyone is feeling the impact of the rapid changes in the market. Business has become more complex, challenging, and demanding. Through this gathering, we aim to promote the exchange of knowledge and insights about the industry and the market to help you stay ahead of these tough times.

We also want to express our gratitude to those who helped put together this fantastic event, especially our co-host, the Port of Rotterdam, for providing this incredible location at Futureland. They also arranged the representative speakers from the Port of Rotterdam and organized the ship for our lunch and port tour. We would also like to thank the presenters from ONYX and Expeditors for sharing their expertise with us.

We hope you find this day enriching and enjoyable. Have a great time!
