Topics of Discussion
This seminar is intended to educate learners on the basic components of a supply chain and the benefits of using a preferred Logistics Service Provider (LSP). We want learners to understand the bigger picture, that is, not just what their company does, but all components that make up their supply chain. The seminar will address the responsibilities and considerations of supply chain members, the benefits of using an LSP, the effects of inventory on a supply chain, and the importance of an integrated approach to managing the supply chain.
The seminar will also include a fun and interactive game developed by MIT known as “The Beer Game”. Attendees will take a hands on approach as they attempt to navigate a supply chain, fill beer orders for a local bar, and avoid backlogs and inventory surplus.
Following the event, we would love to have you join us for happy hour at a nearby local brewery.
We look forward to seeing you at our event. For any questions, please email Hien Vo.
