Description:
Attendees will be introduced to FTZ and will learn about the benefits and challenges to importers, penalties and risks, FTZ models and costs, and how to take advantage of FTZ.
Speaker bio:
Wendy Armbruster is the FTZ Program Manager for Expeditors and is responsible for transition and implementation of FTZ services for our customers, and the Expeditors network. She also provides Tradewin Consulting Services to assist customers through the complex process of obtaining FTZ status of their facilities. Wendy has over 35 years of experience in the Customs brokerage and compliance field. She is a Licensed Customs Broker, Iata/Fiata Certified, and an active member of the National Association of Foreign-Trade Zones (NAFTZ) including participation in the Automation, InBond, and Operator/User committees.
