Description:
Expeditors Boston is excited to host an in-person export compliance awareness seminar on May 24. This awareness session will review the importance of denied party screening, and an overview of sanctions, embargoes, as well as export controls programs in place in the US. Please join our District Trade Compliance Manager, Lori Saraiva, and our Regional Trade Compliance Manager, Dan Forte, for a discussion in these very relevant and rapidly evolving topics.

Lori is 36-year veteran in the logistics and forwarding industry.  She also worked as a Logistics Manager for a large lighting manufacturer before joining Expeditors in 1994. Lori has worked in a variety of roles at Expeditors and has experience in both Customs Brokerage and Export which provided a solid background for a move into Compliance.  She has developed a keen interest in trade regulations.  Lori provides oversight and guidance to our district operations.

  Regional Trade Compliance Manager 

Dan entered the logistics industry in 1994 for a local logistics company as an airport runner, a Brokerage Agent and finally a Brokerage Supervisor.  Dan joined Expeditors in 2004 as a Brokerage Supervisor and held that position until 2010 when he took on the role of District Trade Compliance Manager. In 2022 Dan became the Regional Trade Compliance Manager for the Northeast. Dan received his Customs Brokers License in 2001.
