Clemens grew up in Germany and went on to study International Business in the USA. After his studies he joined Expeditors in 2001 as Management Trainee at our Atlanta office and moved to Amsterdam the following year.
There he held various management functions including District Manager for 7 years and in 2013 he took on regional responsibilities for the Central European countries.
Clemens is a licensed customs broker in the Netherlands and due to his strong operational background is well versed in virtually all aspects of our business.
This allows him to collaborate with our customers to find innovative and sustainable solutions to their every day supply-chain needs.
In 1985 Barry joined Expeditors as a messenger in Los Angeles and after 2 years he was promoted to Ocean Product Manager at the same branch. Barry moved to Dallas in 1992 to fill the position as District Manager and opened the Expeditors Austin office in 2000.
In 2001 Barry relocated to London when he became the Managing Director UK. Barry is a great example of Expeditors’ intention to promote from within the company because he was again promoted in 2008 to Regional Vice President UK, IE & Southern Africa, based in London.
As of 2015 Barry is the Vice President Ocean and Order Management Services Europe.
Barry has a very diverse background in Product, Geography and Service. He has run multiple country/geography PNL’s and his experience expands across Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Aviation, Retail, High Tech and Oil & Energy.
He is originally from Seattle, WA and graduated from University of Washington with a degree in International Trade and Finance.
Wes Mupararano has over 20 years of experience in Supply Chain and Logistics execution and leads the European Network Solutions team. The Supply Chain Solutions team helps customers drive large-scale, complex transformation programs that deliver improved Supply Chain performance. Prior to this, Wes spent several years within the Logistics Engineering team, driving many hundreds of projects from the initial idea or hypothesis, through to comprehensive project deliverables. Modelling the baseline and developing future state scenarios using our best in class modelling software is a critical part of this activity. He is passionate about designing operationally sound and complete Supply Chain solutions that enable customers to make informed decisions, having considered the many cost and performance trade-offs that are important to them.
Prior to joining Expeditors, Wes led the Supply Chain analytics team in QVC and was a customer of Expeditors. He was a multiple winner of the Supply Chain Employee of the year award and able to fine tune the skills needed to successfully bundle the contrasting needs of vendors, planners, and merchandising
Wes completed the various modules that make up the MITx Micro Masters Credential in Supply Chain Management, gaining valuable insight into Supply Chain disruption and design.
He holds a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Statistics.
